Product Description

--Julien Guichard

I bought this album way back in October, and I'm still not sick of it. Kid Loco adds his own unique mellow touch to all these tracks and manages to remix a pulp song and make it great! On the Talvin Singh remix, Loco takes the violin solo at the end of the orignal (which is around ten minutes long) and then puts it over some really nice beats, while repeating a few of the violin sequences and adding some light choir-ish vocals in the background. For any fan of trip hop, or dub, this compilation of Kid Loco remix tracks is a must. I also can't recommend his full length album enough...there is NO way to get sick of Kid Loco, he is perfect for any occasion.

I'm a D.J and spin Electro Techno but after a while 4/4 gets boring. So when it comes to what I listen to its lounge style French Trip Hop and Downtempo/Acid Jazz. Stuff like Air & Thievery Corps. But Kid Loco is simply the best. I know own all his stuff and this one is so incredible, the female vocals on most of the tracks are just so beautiful it will make you melt. Theres just not enough good stuff I can say about this yet that it ROCKS!
LOCO IS A GRANDMASTER OF TRIP HOP MIX

When I first heard "Prelude to a Grand Love Story," I thought I heard it all. Loco has topped what was thought to be the standard for which all Trip Hop is to be compared. Jesus Life For Children.. is even better than his first project. So far, the French are simply the best for this style of music. This CD has a very relaxing and groovy feel from start to finish. Takes you to far off exotic places when listening. I really enjoy the traditional jazz mixes that Loco throws into the soup.

While I was in Europe, many of the most popular Lounges and Clubs would play one or two tracks from this CD. Women seem to really get turned on to the hipnotic rhythms.

The only disappointment I would have is that LOCO doesn't put enough material out.

The best CD to relax

This is definitevely my CD of the year 2001. It is very slow and soft, but very intense. Listen to it on your stereo when you go to sleep, when you are in the mood to relax. Wonderful remixes! You have to like soft or very relaxing music, but if it goes into your skin, and even deeper and you will never forget the feeling. Even if you listen it 200 times it will never get boring or simple. It is simple and complex. You will always find something special in each song. This is my favorite CD.
